Automatic Refunds

If something fails on our side, we automatically return the jobs. No ticket. No waiting.

How it works:

1. Report fails during processing (rare)
2. Jobs immediately return to your account
3. You receive an email notification
4. Run the report again or use jobs elsewhere

What we fix with compute, not apologies: If a report has an issue, we rerun it with more resources. You keep your jobs until we deliver a working report.

Note: These are your jobs in your Surmado account, usable on any report.

Auto-Refill

Optionally top up your job balance when it falls below a threshold you set.

How auto-refill works:

• Set a minimum balance (example: 2 jobs)
• When your balance drops below that threshold, we automatically charge your payment method
• You choose the refill amount (example: add 5 jobs)
• Cancel anytime from your account settings

Why use auto-refill: Repeat value without manual top-ups. Run reports whenever you need them.

Example workflow: Agency sets minimum balance at 4 jobs. Runs 3 AI Visibility reports (3 jobs used). Balance drops to 2 jobs. Auto-refill triggers, adds 5 jobs. New balance: 7 jobs.

For Developers and Agencies

API usage: Jobs work identically via API and web UI. When you call /v1/reports/signal with "tier": "pro", we deduct 1 job from your organization account.

Clean-label mode: Jobs are deducted when the report is queued, not when it completes. Clean-label reports (with your agency branding) use the same job system. No extra cost for clean-labeling.

Webhook delivery: When reports complete, we send a webhook to your specified URL with download links. Jobs are already deducted by this point. If the report failed, jobs were automatically refunded before the webhook fires.

Bulk operations: Agencies running 50+ reports per month benefit from:

• Portfolio plan ($500/mo, 20 jobs)
• Auto-refill prevents manual intervention
• Single billing invoice for all client reports
• Jobs pooled across your organization

Example agency math: 10 clients × 1 AI Visibility job per month = 10 jobs = Portfolio plan ($500/mo, 20 jobs with extra capacity)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do jobs expire? No. Jobs never expire.

Can I share jobs across team members? Yes. Jobs are pooled at the organization level. Anyone with access to your organization can use jobs.

What if I buy the wrong report? Contact hi@surmado.com within 7 days for a full refund. Or use the jobs on a different report.

Can I get a refund in cash instead of jobs? Yes, within 7 days of purchase. After that, refunds are issued as jobs to your account.

Does auto-refill lock me in? No. Auto-refill is a convenience feature. Cancel anytime. No commitment.
